There’s another clue that Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal’s “The Avengers” game will be released for the next generation of consoles. A job advertisement was treacherous.
Crystal Dynamics, where various “Tomb Raider” games have been produced in the past, has been working on a new “The Avengers” game for some time. Also involved is Eidos Montreal.
There is not enough information about this game yet. However, job advertisements could indicate on which platforms the new “The Avengers” will be published.
Release for PS5 and Xbox Scarlett?
Crystal Dynamics is hiring more staff and a job ad is particularly noticeable. It is looking for a lead producer, which should take on, among other things, the upcoming consoles. The job advertisement says:
“The lead producer must have proven experience with external partners in the creation of next-generation console and PC games.”
Building on this, the rumor spread that “The Avengers” might be released for the next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett. Of course, it would also be conceivable that the title as a cross-gene game in addition to the two current consoles PS4 and Xbox One is launched on the market.
Most industry representatives still expect the two new PS5 and Xbox Scarlett consoles to be announced this year and released next year. When exactly the revelations should take place is still unknown. Several fairs are coming up. But as we know, Sony will make a big break around the E3 this year.
Next Gen Console and PC Games “could just mean that developers want to define a new generation of games. But even previous speculation that the “ambitious game” could appear only for the consoles of the next generation. The Creative Director’s statement recently suggested that further information about the game will not be shared in the near future.
In the mentioned job advertisement it says quite generally.
“The successful candidate works directly with the studio leadership and is responsible for staying on budget while meeting the highest quality project milestones.”
At the same time there is talk of a multi-million-dollar project, where the goal is to create a high-rated AAA game.
