According to a recent rumor, the Retro Studios are working on “Star Fox: Grand Prix”. It should be a racing game for the Nintendo Switch.
In just a few weeks, the E3 2018 will start in the United States. And traditionally, countless rumors are circulating ahead of the event. One of them refers to a game called “Star Fox: Grand Prix”. The not unknown Reddit user “The Passing” claims in any case that the Retro Studios, where among other things “Metroid Prime” was created, work on such a game.
Described is a racing game in the style of “Diddy Kong Racing” or “F-Zero”. The gameplay itself, however, should be based more on “F-Zero”. To be equipped is “Star Fox: Grand Prix” with an adventure mode, boss battles and a hub world.
“Retro Studios is working on a spin-off based on an existing Nintendo IP that they have not worked with before, it’s Star Fox,” said the Reddit user DasVergeben. “It’s actually a racing game, something like Diddy Kong Racing essentially mixed with F-Zero, but more like F-Zero gameplay, there will be an adventure mode (think Diddy Kong Racing) and there will be some boss fights as well give a hub world, it’s called Star Fox: Grand Prix. ”
If there’s something to that statement, maybe we’ll hear about it at E3 2018 in Los Angeles. The review of “Star Fox: Grand Prix” can be found on Nintendo Insider.
