The Japanese game maker SEGA has unveiled the summary of the last fiscal year. It also gave a new indication of the worldwide sales of the Japanese role-playing game “Persona 5”.
Accordingly, “Persona 5” could achieve over 2.2 million sales by March 31, 2018, which the game since the last interim results from November 2017 could sell another 200,000 times. However, according to SEGA, other games such as “Sonic Mania”, “Sonic Forces” and also the “Total War” series have done well in the last fiscal year. However, “Shin Megami Tensei V” for Nintendo Switch has not been confirmed for this fiscal year. This also applies to the new, yet unannounced brand of Yakuza Studio. By contrast, “13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim” by VanillaWare is due to be published in 2018.
