The executives of SEGA will bring with “SEGA Ages” a game collection of classic titles of the company on the Nintendo Switch. First games have already been confirmed.
As part of the SEGA Fes 2018, the Japanese publisher has made some announcements. After confirming that “Shenmue I & II” will find its way onto the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as well as the SEGA Mega Drive Mini later this year, those in charge also announced that the company’s classic games will appear for the Nintendo Switch.
With “SEGA Ages”, more than 15 classic SEGA games, which are being developed by M2 and equipped with new functions, will be published worldwide in the Nintendo eShop from next summer. So far, only a selection of games has been confirmed. According to “Sonic the Hedgehog”, “Phantasy Star” and “Thunder Force IV” find their way to the console hybrids. “Thunder Force IV” is already playable at the SEGA Fest 2018 this weekend.
