Following the Walmart leak last week, it was feared that Bethesda Softworks would have lost the revelation of “Rage 2” for the E3 2018. However, Pete Hines has now confirmed that they never wanted to make the announcement at the show.
Last week, American retailer Walmart has already revealed that Bethesda Softwork’s first-person shooter “Rage 2” is in development. With the approaching E3 2018 and a mass Bethesda conference on the horizon, it was anticipated that Walmart had anticipated an E3 announcement from Bethesda Softworks and the publisher had to redeploy and prioritize the revelation accordingly.
Meanwhile, Bethesda’s VP of Marketing Pete Hines has revealed that the revelation of “Rage 2” was not planned for the most important game show of the year. Hines says, “The plan was originally to start teasers on Friday, bring the teaser trailer today and gameplay tomorrow, we just improvised and adapted, because my team is awesome and we thought it would be fun would (that was it). ”
Accordingly, Bethesda Softworks has used the Walmart Leak to enjoy themselves with the dealer and their own fans. The leak has only delayed the original schedule by one day. Thus, Bethesda Softworks has not tasted a big E3 announcement, meaning that the supposedly longest Bethesda history press conference remains the same.
