During the course of yesterday, various new projects appeared in Walmart Canada’s online assortment – including “Rage 2”. In the meantime, the responsible publisher Bethesda Softworks reacted to the supposed leak.
During the week, the Canadian branch of the retail chain Walmart whirled up a lot of dust with a supposed mega-leak.
For example, the dealer’s online assortment featured a number of new projects that might well be unveiled at the E3 2018 next month. These included, among others, “Rage 2” from Bethesda Softworks. The US publisher is also the first company to respond to Walmart Canada.
Rage 2: Bethesda Softworks comments on the supposed leak
Although the company did not want to confirm the ongoing work on “Rage 2” as expected, but released several tweets, which could indicate that the rumors something. For example, those responsible for the official “Rage” Twitter channel went for the “Rage 2” placeholder cover and pointed out its mistake.
Pete Hines, PR employee at Bethesda Softworks, succinctly states, “That’s why we just can not have nice things.” An exasperated reaction to the leak? At least at the E3 next month we should know more in case of cases.
The E3 2018 will take place from the 12th to the 14th of June.
