The ’90s inspired first person shooter “Hellbound” is late. However, one mode is already playable for free.
“Hellbound” was already announced in November last year. The creators promise us a forceful and game-focused first-person shooter that draws inspiration from retro classics like Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem 3D and Blood.
But until players are allowed to plunge into the carnage, they have to wait a bit longer. The responsible developers of Saibot Studios have postponed the release date to next year. Although the full game will not be available until 2019, there is a small consolation: The shooter is quite playable.
So the makers have released the Early Access version of the survival mode for free play on Steam. In Survival Mode you have to fight against hordes of enemies and survive one opponent wave after another on a small island.
