In recent days, there were rumors that claimed otherwise. But Microsoft’s Frank O’Connor once again made it clear that “Halo Infinite” will be released for the PC and the Xbox One.
A few days ago, the rumors spread that “Halo Infinite” will be released to the market for the upcoming generation of consoles – the Xbox Scarlett. The release of the shooter will take place in this context later in the coming year.
But what is this rumor about? Not much, Franchise Development Director Frank O’Connor said in a brief statement. According to him, “Halo Infinite” is still intended for the PC and the Xbox One.
Halo boss ensures clarification
After O’Connor was touched on Twitter on the rumor or the leak for Next-gen-release, he said:
“I have no idea which leak you’re talking about, but Halo Infinite will be released for Xbox One and appropriately specified PCs.”
So this topic should also be off the table. However, it should be noted that a release of “Halo Infinite” for PC and Xbox One does not preclude a later launch of the shooter on the Xbox Scarlett. First, the new console must be announced.
More information on “Halo Infinite” is coming soon: Bonnie Ross, head of 343 Industries, recently pointed out that the title will be unveiled at the E3 2019. More information about Halo Infinite will be shared as part of the Los Angeles convention.
According to the lady’s statement, game director Chris Lee will discuss details about the shooter. Among other things, the focus is on the capabilities of the SlipSpace engine.
