As Game Director Cory Barlog admitted in an interview, the development of “God of War” was not always round. On the contrary: In the meantime, one even had the feeling that “everything will fall apart”.
As it became clear in the past few hours, Game Director Cory Barlog and the team responsible for the Sony Santa Monica Studios deliver with God of War one of the best PlayStation 4 titles ever.
Thus, the global valuation average in the past few hours settled at a stately 94 percent. As Barlog acknowledged in a recent video interview, he doubted in the meantime both in itself and the reorientation of “God of War” in the course of the work.
God of War: Cory Barlog admits intervening self-doubt
In the said interview Barlog spoke of a cumbersome development, noting that he occasionally had the fear of driving the realignment and thus the complete “God of War” series to the wall. Doubts of this kind arose especially in moments when the developers were struggling with camera settings and missed deadlines.
This gave Barlog the feeling that “everything is falling apart”. His thoughts during these months Barlog described as follows: “What am I doing here? I’ll screw it up. I will be the person who took a franchise and drove it to the wall. ”
Fortunately it did not happen that way – on the contrary. “God of War” will be released on April 20 exclusively for the PS4.
