In “Far Cry 5”, the developers have dispensed with the constant climbing of towers to activate secondary tasks and important interaction options. There is still a possibility for climbing. A video shows how at this point climbing the towers in previous games on the ground is taken.
In the upcoming “Far Cry 5” you can no longer climb towers to explore the area. The renunciation of this possibility should, according to Ubisoft promote the free exploration of the game world. Lead writer Drew Holmes has revealed more details: “This time, we really wanted to focus on the exploration – in the sense of ‘I do not know exactly what to do or where to go.'”
However, the developers have not completely renounced climbing towers. Shortly after starting the game, you will encounter a mission in which you will have to climb an extremely high radio tower to activate a radio antenna. While pursuing this task, the client logs on by radio to word and assured that it remains in this mission – a small swipe of the developers against the own past of the series. You can watch the scene in the video below.
“Far Cry 5” will be released on tomorrow, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
