In a few weeks, Hideo Kojima will speak on a panel at the Tribeca Film Festival about the upcoming “Death Stranding”. Also present are his friends Norman Reedus and Geoff Keighley. The last mentioned moderator will lead through the show.
While it’s still unclear when “Death Stranding” will be released, you can expect a new panel to be held as part of the Tribeca Film Festival. During the event, Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus want to talk about the upcoming PS4 game.
The show will be held on April 25, 2019. The presenter will be Kojima’s friend and Game Awards producer Geoff Keighley. He will lead the show.
A statement on the panel has been posted on the official Tribeca Film Festival website. It states that “world-famous author-game creator Hideo Kojima” is not only known as the “father of the stealth genre,” but works on the “highly anticipated PlayStation 4 title Death Stranding.”
Discussions about the cross-border game
Little is known about the “mysterious new project”, however, speculation by fans and industry would have produced a “deafening excitement”. During the panel, Kojima wants to talk about his “cross-border new game”. And Norman Reedus, who got a role in “Death Stranding”, stands by his side.
It remains to be seen whether new information on “Death Stranding” will be shared in the context of the panel. Essentially, it’s about how the “boundaries of the video game medium” can be expanded during the show.
“Death Stranding” has been developed exclusively for the PS4 for several years. Sony and Kojima Productions have not leaked an appointment so far.
