The responsible developers of The Behemoth indicate with a recent tweet that you will bring “Castle Crashers” on the Nintendo Switch.
The development studio The Behemoth was able to achieve international breakthrough in 2008 with the 2D arcade adventure “Castle Crashers”. The adventure offered cooperative gaming fun with up to four players, a headstrong humor and a lot of action as you gawked through the various stages with the colorful knights.
Officially it says to the game:
“Hack, slice and punch your way to victory in this award-winning 2D arcade adventure from The Behemoth! Featuring hand-drawn characters, Castle Crashers delivers a high-resolution look like you’ve never seen before. Up to four friends play locally or over the Internet to free your princess, defend the kingdom and let it crack in locks! “
Now the developers seem to have hinted with a recent tweet that the indie classic might find its way onto the Nintendo Switch. In a meaningful picture, four different colored Joy-Cons were presented, which are supposed to stand for the four different knights.
However, an official revelation of the Nintendo Switch version of “Castle Crashers” is still pending. Thus, it is not known when the adventure will actually appear for the console hybrid.
