The development studio Boss Key Productions, founded by Cliff Bleszinski, gives up. After four years, the gates will be closed. Bleszinski would first like to take a break and dedicate himself to his family.
Boss Key Productions recently released a title that was not too successful with LawBreakers. Recently followed by the
Battle Royale shooter “Radical Heights”, which was made available for PC to download. But even this project could not save the studio. As Cliff Bleszinski announced in the meantime, the Boss Key Productions he founded will be closed.
It is still unclear how it continues with both games. If there is no other company that continues to operate “LawBreakers” and “Radical Heights”, they probably will disappear from the net. At least in the case of “Radical Heights” it is stressed that the servers will stay online in the near future. Cliff Bleszinski wants to take a break and spend more time with the family.
“Four years ago, I founded a world-class game development studio and hired some of the best talent in the video game industry,” Bleszinski said. “They worked tirelessly on quality products while we had our ups and downs, I think we had fun, Lawbreakers was a great game that unfortunately did not succeed and the last attempt was in the huge Battle Royale genre with Radical Heights, that was well received, but it was a bit too late. ” Read the full statement from the developer here.
