Will the role-playing shooter “Borderlands 3” be seen at this year’s E3 or not? According to recent reports, a spokesperson for Gearbox Software has denied a presentation of the title in Los Angeles.
Even though it has been confirmed over and over again in the past few months that the Texan development studio Gearbox Software is currently working on “Borderlands 3”, tangible details and impressions are still awaiting.
While the studio itself is silent, it has been rumored in recent weeks that Gearbox Software will nail their noses and officially launch the role-playing shooter at this year’s E3 from June 12-14. This is obviously not the case.
Borderlands 3: No presentation at this year’s E3?
Instead, Shacknews’ colleagues report that a spokesperson for Gearbox Software, unnamed by name, told journalists and confirmed that “Borderlands 3” will not be featured on E3. Instead, Gearbox Software wants to use the event to introduce other projects.
Which these are, is currently still unclear. In addition, according to the journalists present, there is the question of whether to really refrain from a presentation at the E3 2018 or whether the press should be misled a bit in order not to spoil a possible surprise at the world’s leading fair for video games.
By the next month we will know more.
