2K Games is working on a new “BioShock” game, according to a recent report. The title has not been officially announced so far, but the E3 2018 is fast approaching.
According to a Kotaku report, a new “BioShock” game is in progress. This should happen in a not yet known studio by 2K Games. Kotaku’s Jason Schreier first points out in his report: “Next door [from Mafia 3 developer Hangar 13], a small group of people quietly recruited from the whole video game industry for a secret game were working on a project code-named Parkside, of which they could not even tell their colleague at Hangar 13. ”
Said report is primarily about the problems with Hangar 13. It is mentioned, among other things, that some developers have moved to the other studio. The reference to a new “BioShock” followed later in the article: “It turned out that this project is a new game within one of the most interesting shooter franchises of the last decade: BioShock.”
And the new “BioShock” is to be developed on the basis of Unreal Engine 4. A new “BioShock” was last in the conversation last year, as a job advertisement on the current development indicated. Among other things, a Lead Campain designer was sought, which is to work on a Triple-A title, which is played from the first-person point of view.
The bidder should strive to create “reverberating, emotional experiences through gameplay.” There was also a search for a lead technical artist, whose job, according to 2K Games, is to create a “breathtaking, story- and system-based experience” in one “new and fantastic world” work
